About Me and Why I’m So Passionate About Women’s Mental Health
From a young age, I felt a calling to make a difference in the world. As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a teacher, fueled by a genuine desire to help others thrive. However, as life unfolded and my parents divorced, my focus shifted toward supporting families through their own challenges, nurturing their connections and resilience.
In the early days of my therapy career, I gained valuable experience in schools, the court system, and with children and youth. It was during this time that I realized a profound truth: many issues originate from the struggles faced by parents.
This revelation guided me to my true calling—providing therapy for women. I witnessed how deeply women give of themselves, often feeling depleted, lonely, and overwhelmed. I recognized their need for a safe haven—a space where they can be seen and heard, and receive the guidance necessary to reclaim their sense of self and live authentically.
