As a woman, you have incredible strength, resilience, and power. You have the capacity to do remarkable things for yourself, others, and the world on your own. As an internal family therapist, I know this to be true. 

But I'm sure you understand that something must be said about the magnified power of a supportive female community. 

As part of my women's mental health services, I also provide a platform where women like you can gather and provide one another with validation, understanding, and nonjudgmental support. Together, we can tap into our strengths and lift each other up where we need it most. 

Not seeing me in individual women’s counseling? No problem! You can still participate in my women’s support groups! 

I offer two online women’s support groups for women in Georgia:

  • Online Movement Groups for Women (stretching, yin yoga, breathing, and meditation)

These groups provide unparalleled support from like-minded women; because they are online, you can participate from the comfort of your home!

Community Events in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley Area With Sistas Beyond Judgment

I know what you’re thinking: “Community events in the Philadelphia area? Why not Georgia?” I get it—it’s a little confusing! But the short explanation is that I founded Sistas Beyond Judgment when I lived in Pennsylvania. Since then, I have moved to Georgia and then back to the Philadelphia area. 

While I am licensed to practice in both Georgia and Pennsylvania, I’m currently focusing on seeing clients in Georgia. Since I physically reside in Pennsylvania, that’s where I hold community events!

Every part of who you are is valuable. But sometimes, some parts don't serve you anymore, take over, and disrupt your balance. As an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist in Georgia, I focus on working collaboratively with you to identify your wounded parts and your inner strengths.

In your online women's counseling sessions with me, I'll encourage you to look inward to clarify what isn't serving you and build on what is using:

  • acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

  • cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

  • meditation and mindfulness.
